"Identification Verification Issue I recently encountered an issue with the identification verification process, and I must say it was quite frustrating. The system seemed to have trouble recognizing my identification documents, which resulted in delays and inconvenience for me. I followed all the instructions carefully and provided the required documents, but the system kept rejecting them. I double-checked everything to ensure that I had submitted the correct information, but the problem persisted. I re"
I recently encountered a situation where a couple of banks asked me a specific question to confirm my identity. Curious about the reason behind this, I inquired with one of the banks and was informed that they source their questions from lexisnexis. Consequently, I feel compelled to share my experience with lexisnexis through this review. The question posed to verify my identity was as follows: "What city does (my mom's name) live in?" The options provided included several cities and "None of the Above." The problem I encountered with this question is that my mother passed away two years ago. Now, should I select the city she resided in when she was alive two years ago, or should I choose "None of the Above" due to her passing? It left me pondering. Ultimately, I opted for "None of the Above," but this decision resulted in my account being flagged and put on hold, causing inconvenience. I would appreciate identity verification questions that are more relevant to me personally, and I suggest excluding questions about my deceased mother from your Risk Solutions. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you could update your records periodically to avoid asking customers, as well as organizations like banks, such "trick questions." It is worth noting that I received this question in both 2021 and 2022, despite my mother's passing in 2019. Quite perplexing, to say the least.

"LexisNexis, the owner of Vitalcheck, provides an exceptional service. I recently had the opportunity to utilize Vitalcheck's services and was thoroughly impressed. The process was incredibly efficient and user-friendly. I was able to easily order vital records online and received them promptly. The customer support team was also very helpful and responsive, addressing any inquiries I had in a timely manner. Overall, I highly recommend LexisNexis and Vitalcheck for anyone in need of vital records."
This review is for LexisNexis:

I recently ordered a death certificate from Vitalcheck, which is supposedly a subsidiary of LexisNexis. I must say, after this experience, I am seriously considering switching to TLO and terminating my company's contract with LexisNexis. It was an extremely bad experience.

I uploaded all the required documents, but then I received conflicting information. First, I received an email stating that signatures were missing from an identity document that I wasn't even required to provide. Then, I received another email stating that everything was fine and my request was being processed.

After waiting in the queue for over 48 minutes, I finally got through to a representative named "Ari." However, she promptly hung up on me while attempting to put me on hold, despite having my order pulled up on her screen. She had my name, email address, and phone number right in front of her, but she chose to provide terrible service and didn't even have the basic courtesy to call me back or resolve my question via email.

The apathy at this company is incredibly evident. It was Ari's choice to provide bad service, which indicates that there are no consequences for incompetence within the company. This is not surprising considering they can't even staff appropriately, resulting in customers waiting for nearly an hour. It's clear that their main focus is securing government contracts, and they couldn't care less about anything else.

I called back and spent another 37 minutes on hold before finally speaking to the truly helpful Georgina. She escalated the matter to a supervisor who confirmed that the form on Vitalcheck's website is incorrect and a different form is actually required.

I requested that Georgina email me the "missing" form she claimed I needed to fill out, but she kept insisting that it was available on the website and refused to send it via email.

How on earth am I supposed to fill out a form that the employees won't send, especially when we have determined that the wrong form is on the website?

This company is completely incompetent!
